The sharing Christmas breakfast
Forgo heavy fry-ups or fussy canapés on Christmas morning and keep the cooking to a minimum with a lay-it-out-and-leave-it grazing platter –a genius idea to suit the early risers and the slugabeds

YOUR SHOPPING LIST
We’ve taken inspiration from Nordic flavours by way of the Levant, but the world is your oyster... Add olives/dips for a Med twist, pastries for a Viennese vibe, or embrace your inner Aussie with smashed avo, sourdough and a jug of cold-brew.
FRUIT AND VEG
We used figs, pears, pomegranate and physalis, but most fruit and veg work well; think crunchy chicory, creamy avocado, even little waxy potatoes.
CEREALS/NUTS
For some, breakfast isn’t complete without muesli. A chocolate granola (see overleaf) adds a celebratory twist to the classic. Alternatively, think about making bircher muesli with lots of grated apple.
