SUBJECT: A world of flavours
FROM: Alice Booth
I’ve loved making the recipes from your recent Tastes Like Home Special [July 2016, p60] and Sharing Food [September 2016, p50] articles, featuring brilliant cooks from all over the world who’ve made their home in the UK. The Eritrean zigni berbere stew was fantastic; we even visited our local Ethiopian restaurant to get some injera bread to make it truly authentic! What better way to celebrate the diversity and richness of cultures that we have here in Britain than through incredible food and celebrating community? I’d love to see more features like this, with international recipes and stories from amateur chefs around the country.
