It’s mid-March, and the Covid-19 pandemic is sweeping across the world. Many other countries in Europe are in strict lockdown, but harsh restrictions in Britain have not yet been enforced. Solo camping seems like an ideal way to remain socially distanced, so I carry on walking along the North Norfolk coast, starting each day by listening to news bulletins, then spending the rest of the day letting the wind blow that news away.
