EISA 2020-2021 winners
Wins across the board for the major manufacturers, after the specialist camera press in 29 countries cast its votes
Canon, Nikon and Sony were the big winners at the EISA Awards 2020-2021. The Expert Imaging and Sound Association comprises 55 special-interest magazines from 29 countries across the world and has celebrated the best photographic products for over 35 years.
Canon won plaudits for its EOS R5 (Camera Innovation), EOS-1D X Mark III (Professional Camera), EOS 90D (APS-C Camera), RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM (Standard Lens), RF 600mm and RF 800mm f/11 IS STM (Lens Innovation), while the RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM took Lens of the Year. Nikon’s D780 won the Full-Frame Camera award, the Z 50 was Best Buy Camera and two Nikkor lenses were also recognised - the 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR (Professional Telephoto Zoom Lens), and the Z 85mm f/1.8 S (Portrait Lens).
