With scaffolding structures that resemble Middle Eastern pick-up trucks, the tidal aerial bombardment range at Donna Nook looks like a scene from Mad Max. The red rectangle is so arresting graphically, while the scaffolding subdivides the frame. The tubes’ bullet holes and the punctured targets hint at violence that often rains from above.
