With documentary photography it is important to convey your message clearly. “I took this image for the story of a karate coach, Wasim Stout, who provides psychological support to children with special needs affected by the war (in Syria), through the sport of karate. I wanted to shed light on a group in the Syrian society affected by the war and deprived of its right to treatment, due to the difficult conditions,” says Anas.
