Photoshop is used in many ways, but the one thing that comes in handy for any photographer is selecting and extracting. Making selections can be challenging, but it has to be done right otherwise, the whole emotion of the scene might not be credible and ruin the whole photo. Each detail is important. There are different ways to select your subject and extract them in Photoshop.
In this example, I will show you the easiest and fastest way to do that. Photoshop has evolved so much that in a few clicks, you can do things that would have taken you hours before because it had to be done precisely, zoomed in, and it was not the most enjoyable part of retouching photos. So let me show you the most recent and efficient technique I have been using to select and extract a subject from its environment.
