We have always been here.
That’s what they don’t want you to know. By “they” I mean the people who would rather we stayed out of positions of power and pages of school textbooks. I’m talking about those who want us to tone ourselves down, keep being invisible and stop going on about the fact that yes, we exist and, even more shockingly, we deserve equal rights.
