Editor’s letter
I’ll be honest with you. I’m still buzzing from the 30th anniversary DIVA Awards. Being in a room surrounded by LGBTQIA legends, commemorating three decades of our super sapphic publication and standing in unwavering solidarity with our trans siblings was both glorious and galvanising.
It was a big night in more ways than one. After eight remarkable years in which she has elevated DIVA from a magazine to so much more, Linda Riley announced that she is stepping down as publisher. In her final act in the role, she revealed that she is giving DIVA back to the community and it is in the process of becoming a charity. At a time when our rights are under such vicious attack, this evolution will allow us to not only survive but thrive, doing more than ever to amplify our voices and champion our causes.
