Win! DOCTOR WHO AND THE KRIKKITMEN BOOK
Doctor Who and the Krikkitmen, a lost story by Douglas Adams featuring the Fourth Doctor and Romana, is published this month by BBC Books. The novel is based on recently discovered paperwork found in the Douglas Adams Archive in Cambridge and has been written by James Goss, whose previous Doctor Who novelisations include City of Death and The Pirate Planet.
In the story, the Doctor takes Romana to a cricket match which is interrupted by 11 figures in white uniforms and peaked skull helmets, wielding bat-shaped weapons that fire lethal bolts of light into the screaming crowd: the Krikkitmen are back…
Doctor Who and the Krikkitmen is available in hardback from 18 January, priced £16.99, and also as a talking book from BBC Audio, priced £20. DWM has FIVE copies of the hardback to give away to lucky readers who can successfully rearrange the letters in the yellow squares to form the name of a character from one of Douglas Adams’ Doctor Who stories.
