Adjoa Andoh, Arthur Darvill, Mark Gatiss, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Russell Tovey and Indira Varma are amongst those taking part in An Oak Tree at the Young Vic, London from 6 to 17 May. Each night a different actor who has never read the play, will join the cast of this gripping production about a father who loses his daughter in a car accident and meets with the driver.

Steph De Whalley is the associate director of Spy Movie: The Play! a new comedy of the greatest spy movie never made. The tour opens in Norwich on 29 April and runs until 27 August in Edinburgh.

Television

Peter Capaldi and Harriet Walter are amongst those guest-starring in the latest series of Black Mirror, which is available on Netflix from 10 April.

Jodie Whittaker and Suranne Jones are currently filming Frauds in Spain, for ITV. The six-part heist drama is about two friends, with very different lives as they take on a multi-million-pound art heist. Code of Silence, a new detective series which follows a deaf worker from the police canteen, who is brought in as an emergency lip reader for an investigation, is available on ITV from 18 May. Rose Ayling-Ellis leads the cast alongside Nathan Armarkwei Laryea, Beth Goddard and Charlotte Ritchie. Chanya Button is one of the two directors, and Sam Care is one of the two DOPs.
