When you’re a teenager, the school holidays can fly by. Fourteen-year-old Casey Beaumaris isn’t exactly delighted, then, when her mother asks her to spend three of her days off aboard the airborne hospice where she works – although the would-be reporter senses an opportunity to write about it for her school newspaper.
