You wake from an apparently successful operation to learn your citizenship has been revoked. You’re free to wander the surface wasteland as you please, your robot overlords say, but you may never rejoin civilised society. Oh, and don’t reproduce.Those are the two rules you live by now: stay out and keep your filthy genes to yourself. Not that the world outside is likely to be much of an aphrodisiac, what with the boulders of raw flesh everywhere. When struck with a weapon, these split apart into organs and hunks of meat, ready to be scooped up into your inventory and eaten, providing some health but also increasing your level of infection. That’s no bother, though, since you’ve recently gained the ability to throw up on demand.
