THE NATIONAL EMBROIDERY AWARDS PRODUCED A BUMPER CROP OF WINNERS
Man and His Best Friend by Aran Illingworth was announced as Best in Show.
In March the Fashion & Embroidery show at the NEC Birmingham hosted the climax of the inaugural National Embroidery Awards (NEA), where stitchers from all corners of the community where invited to submit a piece of embroidery work that they were most proud of, created within the last year.
The competition was well-supported, attracting almost 90 entries covering a diverse range of work, both 2-D and 3-D, across the two main categories of In Education and Not in Education.
