There's lots to look at in this springtime issue! Valentine's Day is on the horizon, and this edition can help you show that special someone you care, with a beautiful hearts and roses cake. And with Mother's Day not far behind, add a more personal touch this year and spoil your mum with hand painted floral cookies presented as a bouquet.

If theres a little one you’re celebrating, why not have a go at the Baby Dragon cake, which is perfect for children’s parties. A series of oval cutters are used to make the 3D body, and a lightweight marshmallow rice cereal mix is moulded into the head and tail. But if dragons aren’t your thing, check out the sleepover party cake instead, which features an array of fun sugarpaste models.

There are plenty of textured wedding cakes included in this issue too, decorated with delicate sugar flowers like peonies, poppies, roses and clematises. Learn how to create your own sugar flowers, and have fun mixing and matching blossoms to create your own beautiful arrangements!
