AURORA
THE GODS WE CAN TOUCH
DECCA
★★★★
From her name and elfin appearance to her ethereal songs’ imagery, there’s always been something ‘fantastic’ about Aurora. On occasions, the word’s suited the quality of her work, but it’s always been applicable to the otherworldly nature of the atmosphere she creates, whether Running With The Wolves on her 2015 debut EP, titling her first album a year later All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend, or seemingly heading for George RR Martin territory on 2019’s A Different Kind Of Human (Step 2), whose name gives the game (of thrones) away altogether.
