At the time when this magazine is being printed, Italy is witnessing, with bated breath, the spread of Coronavirus on the territory, with its social and economic consequences. No predictions can be done on the development of such a situation and on the timings for a return to normality, while both the effects and consequences for the jewellery companies can not be equally assessed. As usual, the luxury sector is, though, reacting on a global level with determination and pragmatism, thinking, with a touch of optimism, to the future and to a recovery we wish it would soon start. Then, during the Paris Haute Couture week, high jewellery gave moments of pure creativity, among past splendours and bold experiments, in a triumph of gems that paid homage to the magnificence of the big maisons. In Italy, historical companies celebrated important anniversaries, proud of their success made up of design, technology and craftsmanship, while new, interesting realities are emerging with innovative offers in the field of services and the digital world. Our magazine, on its parts, starts from this issue the publication of the first two legs of a Ground Tour that will include the best excellences of Made in Italy jewels. And always following this optimistic trend, it gives wide space to the bridal world characterised by romanticism and refinement, where always and despite everything, dresses and jewels give women all over the world dreams and emotions they will carry with them for the rest of their life.
