Parchment Craft Magazine July 2013 Back Issue

Whether you’re partial to working with colouring mediums or you’re more of a traditionalist and prefer to work with ball and perforating tools, there’s something inside for you. In total there are 19 projects for you to choose from.

One of my favourite pieces can be found on page 42. Submitted by Adele Griffiths, her circular wall hanging design combines pretty embossing with delicate cut work detailing and the subtle use of colour. Adele’s been parching for around eight years; she took up the craft after receiving a birthday card made from parchment. Her fascination with the
craft has inspired her to design over 80 pieces of work with her favoured style being miniature outfits for dolls.

Examples of unique summer themed cards can be found on pages 6, 28 and 30 with designs submitted by Judith Maslen, Tina Cox and Kay James respectively. There’s also your regular monthly workshop from Josie Davidson, who this month has chosen the water lily as her featured flower of the month.
