Air charter service Horizon Airways has added a new twin-engine Tecnam P2012 STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) to its fleet, claiming it is the ‘first of its type’ of aircraft in Australia and purpose- built to handle the Torres Strait region.
The 23rd foreign fishing vessel to be caught in waters off northern Queensland has been disposed of in accordance with the law, the Australian Border Force says, as they ramp up targeting of illegal activity in their patrols of the Torres Strait and PNG’s Western Province.
