Torres Strait Kaziw Meta boarders are gaining hands-on access
to digital technology and STEM learning, thanks to a week-long Artificial Intelligence (AI) and coding workshop.
The 2026 Nulung Kayn Kasi event, held at MacKillop Catholic College in
Cairns, was a powerful celebration of First Nations student leaders from all around the Far North, their families and their culture.
Proud Mum Wendy Phinasea was excited to end up in Las Vegas
supporting her daughter Kelam Nona, who played for the winning
Nines Community Women’s Division team, Garramilla Duavata, late
last month.
