Woodworking Crafts Magazine  |  November 2010
We have some great projects and techniques for you in the latest edition of WPP.
Have a go at making a classic tea caddy with Anthony Bailey's superb router masterclass; a bird feeder from just one plank of wood; a toy trolley with building blocks for the kids; mini projects for making steps storage and shelves; and the second part of our wonderful intarsia porthole for the scrollsaw. The A2 projects this month looks at a great router table made on a budget from Alan Holtham; and an oak bookcase with beautiful rosewood detail from Kevin Ley.
Techniques include how to cut dovetails with a router and jig; turning a simple dowel; applying a laminate surface to MDF; and how to make a quick repair to cuts on the workbench.
On test: Bosch jigsaw; Ryobi jigsaw; GMC laminate flooring saw; Hitachi circular saw; Scheppach Deco 405 scrollsaw; and a round-up on finishes.
Plus we have Pfeil chisels and Bosch Pro Jigsaws to giveaway to lucky readers!
