The biennial prize, which was created by Soroptimist International Leeds and run in association with Peepal Tree Press and Ilkley Literature Festival, offers £3,000 to the winner, plus a place on an Arvon course and manuscript assessment through The Literary Consultancy. The runner up will receive £1,250 and the third-placed writer, £750. In addition, non-placed shortlisted entrants may be offered writer development and networking opportunities.
