Celebrate good times, come on!
Hi there race fans, there’s rather a lot to get through this month, so let’s crack on! I’ll kick off with Thailand, which I wasn’t looking forward to as it’s a pure horsepower circuit. In the end, it turned out OK! Well, more like acceptable in my book…
We knew it’d be tough, and in race one we had a bit of dodgy tyre that dropped off around half distance. I was quite lucky to finish fourth, especially as I had a few close moments with my team-mate. Davide could have got me, I was a sitting duck at that point. There was no need for him to ride that hard to try and get past me, he could have easily nipped past as there was nothing I could do. But he crashed, and I got fourth. Plus, my engine was really weak; it was under performing so we changed it for Sunday. We also changed the tyre and both were great, allowing me to chase down the Kawasakis. When I got there, those guys brake hard and it’s tricky to out-brake them when you can’t get a run on them. I was relying on one of them to make a mistake, but they didn’t so I settled for third, my best result around there.
