STAR LETTER
THE GOOD LIFE
Being in lockdown has been tough for most and without wanting to get my violin out, it’s been extremely difficult living alone. Luckily, I am still working from home but still, interaction with other humans has been limited until recently with other family members shielding. Getting more back to normal has raised anxiety levels in so many people with just a fear of becoming infected or what you’re allowed to do from the government advice. However, the headlight at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter.
One thing which has brought me absolute pure and unadulterated joy is my bike. I am relatively new to biking and my Ninja 650 is my first ‘big bike’, having passed my test in 2018. It is simply amazing, I love it to bits. Being able to go out on my bike, in essentially extreme PPE with helmet and gloves, has been a total relief and anxiety reliever. I am lucky to live in East Yorkshire, which is a beautiful part of the world with so many amazing rides on my garage doorstep. I’ve biked more than ever and every single mile makes my smile wider and wider. What’s better than bombing along a country road in a beautiful place and getting a nod from another biker? Nothing!
