Could you guys hook a soldier up with a res’ sock and FB stickers for my GSX-R K4 I just bought? I had a crash in June

which fractured my lower spine in nine places but finally I’m back up and running so to speak. It was June 5, blazing hot and time for a ride with the lads. Ten minutes into a ride and I’m flying through the air because I locked my rear end and then highsided my baby ‘Blade with me thinking – oh shit. That’s all I could think.

Stuck in a ditch, bike on my legs and a very weird hot sensation running through my back, and unable to move, all I said to my pal as he found me was at least ‘I’m not dead’. Anyway, nine fractures to my lower back and a lot of bruising to my left love handle (and a shit load of sick leave), and I’m back on my new bike, a K4 600, and I love it – just got to get back on it and enjoy every day!

I just had the pleasure of four days on track at Cartagena. These two little lads really impressed me. Jack Hart on his RS125 did a 1m58s lap chasing me. Blake Ansell on the Ninja just would not let go either. He chased me all the way through from turn 1 to the last corner on to the straight. There were other young racers in our garage but these two were in my group. I’m selling my Gixer and might buy an RS125! I think we should have a track day just for the young guns!
