Hello there everyone! We had a really big gap in our schedule between our last race at Aragon, and the next one at Assen, at least three weekends I think. Personally I don’t like it, you start the season and get cracking, then have this long waiting period. We had a day’s test after Spain and then it was waiting about, training, keeping fit, but without racing it can get pretty boring.
Anyway, things started out well at Assen; we were there or thereabouts, top three at any rate. We were missing a few tenths of a second here and there, but our race pace was good. Assen has always been tough though, there are certain parts of the track where I’ve never managed to fully dial out the problems with the Panigale. It’s tough when you try so many things over a few years and still can’t nail it. Do you make a drastic change, which could throw out where it works elsewhere, or stick to what you have?
