With music being increasingly consumed via headphones, it’s never been more important to make your stereo synths sound as impressive as possible. While there’s a multitude of great sounding stereo enhancer processors available, using mid/side EQ allows us to add stereo depth, or sparkle to a synth to our taste, without the phasing issues commonly encountered when using stereo excitement plugins, which can often negatively impact on mono compatibility when listening on a Bluetooth speaker, or smartphone.
