(A) Research has shown that those who train first thing in the morning are the fittest and most consistent. We only have so much willpower in a 24-hour period, so choosing to train early in the day ensures you fit in your workout instead of letting work, family or cocktails infringe on your evening exercise plans! Plus, a morning workout, especially in a fasted state, helps your body burn fat stores for fuel instead of having to work through the sugars from a meal later in the day. Early bird exercisers also benefit from making better lifestyle and food choices for the rest of the day, because they have already boosted their mood at the start.
