The Earl of Snowdon, the worldfamous society photographer and former husband of Princess Margaret, died last week at home in London at the age of 86.
Buckingham Palace said the Queen had been informed of Lord Snowdon’s death, but made no further comment. Camera Press, the picture agency that represented his work, announced the news in a statement. “The Earl of Snowdon died peacefully at home on 13th January 2017,” it said.
