COOL COMFORT
Showcasing her new edit with activewear brand Dare 2b, 35-year-old Irish presenter and author Laura Whitmore, who is expecting her first baby with husband Iain Stirling, exclusively shares with HELLO! her workout tips, her thoughts on self-belief and why her dog Mick is essential to her exercise routine…
Laura, tell us about your new edit - what’s your favourite piece?
“There’s so many. I love turquoise - it’s my favourite colour - so I love the marble-effect hoodie. The light material makes it feels like a second skin.
“What I love with this edit is that it’s for everybody - for people who love to train lots, people who just want to go for walks… I think that ‘active’ in activewear is such a broad word and we can use it in so many ways. Some people want to wear their activewear to walk to the fridge.”
What sort of exercise do you enjoy doing?
“I’m not a gym bunny but I’m an active person and I wear a lot of activewear, whether that is for walks in the park or hiking or yoga.
“When we did travel - do you remember those days? - I’d always have a pair of trainers and leggings in my bag. Back in the day working for MTV, going to Ibiza, I would always have a pair of trainers so I could go for a run.”
