SKIERS CHILL OUT FOR SUMMER
While many of us are hoping for the chance to slope off to warmer climes, this group of skiers was determined to show you can have an ice time at home, too. The intrepid slalomers were taking part in the annual Midsummer Ski in celebration of the summer solstice at Meall a’Bhuiridh in Glencoe, which has an elevation of 3,635ft.
Some 20 skiers and snowboarders took part in the event, which is organised by the Glencoe Mountain Resort on the weekend closest to the solstice, and made the most of the last patches of snow on the mountain.
