For more than ten years, beauty influencer Kaushal has shared her life online. But, she tells HELLO!, somewhere between creating content and growing her audience, she lost herself. Here’s how she learnt new ways to manage her mental health

From being one of the first British-Asian influencers to walk the red carpet at Cannes to creating her own limited-edition nude lipstick with L’Oréal Paris, social media star Kaushal is proof you can build a successful career by sharing your life online.
But despite her achievements, the 34-yearold beauty vlogger found that, in a job where you can rarely switch off, it wasn’t always easy to strike a balance between entertaining her audience and looking after her own wellbeing.
“I feel like I blinked and I’ve been online for ten years. It’s just insane,” she says. “But halfway through my journey, my mental health was struggling and I went to therapy for pretty much a whole year.
