Waving to the crowds in the summer sunshine, the King and Queen took centre stage last week as they led the traditional carriage procession to kick off their first Royal Ascot since assuming their new titles.
Dressed in a grey morning suit and top hat, His Majesty beamed with delight, with the Queen, wearing a cream embroidered coat and dress by Dior and a matching hat by Philip Treacy, sitting beside him.
FAMILY TIME
Later in the week, they were joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales, the latest in a succession of family members and close friends to support them during the fiveday event, which is a highlight of the royal summer calendar.
