THEIR MAJESTIES

JOINED BY THE PRINCE AND PRINCESS OF WALES

ENJOY A MAGNIFICENT WELCOME AT THE FIRST ROYAL ASCOT OF THEIR REIGN

Making their Royal Ascot debut since taking the throne, the couple wave to the crowds (above) as they make the traditional entrance. They are pictured with the Duke and Duchess of Wellington (right)

Waving to the crowds in the summer sunshine, the King and Queen took centre stage last week as they led the traditional carriage procession to kick off their first Royal Ascot since assuming their new titles.

Dressed in a grey morning suit and top hat, His Majesty beamed with delight, with the Queen, wearing a cream embroidered coat and dress by Dior and a matching hat by Philip Treacy, sitting beside him.

FAMILY TIME

Later in the week, they were joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales, the latest in a succession of family members and close friends to support them during the fiveday event, which is a highlight of the royal summer calendar.

A huge cheer greeted the Prince and Princess of Wales as their carriage entered the ring

Prince William and Kate, who was a picture of chic elegance in a red Alexander McQueen dress, matching Philip Treacy hat, Jennifer Chamandi suede pumps and Sézane earrings, received a huge cheer from the crowd as they made their entrance on Friday in an opentop carriage directly behind the King and Queen’s.
