This time last year, Helen Skelton was preparing to enter the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom with professional partner Gorka Márquez – and although she’s off on another big adventure, both the star’s partner and her attire are a little different this time.
The On the Farm and former Blue Peter presenter is known for her high-adrenaline exploits, from kayaking down the Amazon to walking a high wire above Battersea Power Station, so it’s no surprise that she jumped at the chance to embark on a new expedition with a good friend.
Together with 5 News and former BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker, Helen has made a four-part series for Channel 5, Dan & Helen’s Pennine Adventure.
