There isn’t much Reese Witherspoon hasn’t achieved in her stellar career.
The only actress in the 100 names on this year’s Forbes list of America’s Richest Self-made Women, with a net worth of $440m (£361.5m), the award-winning star has more than 60 acting credits to her name – including stand-out roles as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde and June Carter Cash in Walk the Line. But most of her wealth stems from the 2021 sale of a share of her production company, Hello Sunshine, which has made TV hits such as The Morning Show and Big Little Lies.
Somehow, the Hollywood A-lister, 47, has found time to run an influential book club and parent three children: Ava, 24, and Deacon, 19, with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, and 11-year-old Tennessee with her second husband Jim Toth, from whom she recently separated.
