Some of this year’s most fascinating insights into the royal family came from the Queen’s son Tom Parker Bowles and the Princess of Wales’s brother James Middleton, both speaking exclusively to HELLO!.
Describing his stepfather as “the kindest, most knowledgeable, lovely man”, food writer Tom, 49, admitted that, as an adolescent in the 1990s, he struggled with the spotlight cast on his family due to his mother’s romance with the then Prince of Wales.
However, crediting Camilla and his father Andrew Parker Bowles with keeping him grounded, Tom said that he and his sister Laura Lopes “have always had a loving family that gives us security”.
