Missiles are rocket-propelled weapons that often use a guidance system to direct them to their target with incredible accuracy and deadly speed. They can be launched from the ground, sea vessels or from aircraft mid-flight. Wherever the target is, these weapons can be preprogrammed or steered mid-flight to take it out. Tomahawk missiles are some of the most iconic in military history. Ever since they were developed half a century ago, they’ve remained in the top tier, with regular updates keeping them effective on an ever-advancing battlefield. These missiles are able to soar through the air at low altitudes, making a precision strike from many hundreds of miles away. By closely following the terrain, T omahawk missiles remain mostly undetectable from vehicle-mounted enemy radar.
