If there is one downside to a streaming service such as Apple Music, it is the fact that when you stop subscribing, you own no music at all. You are effectively paying to rent access to millions of tracks, and while it is good value for money, there are reasons to want to still own a library of music you can retain access to. The problem is that the process to add your tracks to an iOS device is not displayed in an obvious way, so you have to know how to complete the process to take advantage of a dual streaming and local music setup. The process is a one-time event, but it can take time, and you will likely repeat it to keep things up to date.
