10 ways to fix your Wi-Fi
Having problems with Wi-Fi on your Mac? Try these quick fixes that aim to get it working again
The internet is reliable for most people, most of the time, but occasionally problems arise, and it is either very slow or not working at all. Sometimes it is not even the Mac’s fault, and it is useful to check social media using your phone and see if the internet, a particular website or internet service provider is down for anyone else.
Problems with the Mac are often easy to fix and obvious when you know how, and the first item in our list is the most obvious solution to network issues. Some of the other possible fixes are slightly less well known, like renewing DCHP leases or deleting the networking settings and letting macOS create new ones. The simplest fixes are first, but none of them are particularly hard. Try them.
