You probably never thought about customising the ‘compose new message’ window in the Mail app on the Mac. However, it could work better with a few tweaks. We are all familiar with the green and blue bubbles in Messages, indicating people that have and don’t have iPhones. Mail can do a similar thing with emails, and indicate using colour who is in or outside of your company, your family or group of friends. You can also show hidden fields that enable you to add extra information to emails, like the priority, reply-to address and more. Customising Mail takes only a few minutes and is easy to do.
