To add extra professional polish to your production, shoot in Cinematic mode. This adds a background blur to your clips
Camera movements, such as tilts, tracks and pans help tell a story in a more interesting way and also add life and energy to your edited sequences. You can enhance your camera moves in the editing stage by retiming footage to speed it up. A long slow camera tracking towards a subject can be a bit boring and risks losing the audience’s attention. However, if you speed up the action in the middle of the clip and then return to normal speed at the end you can create a dynamic ‘speed ramp’ that propels the narrative and keeps the viewer watching!
