WATCHING TV is something that many visually impaired people still like to do. For many of us, this is made possible through the use of Audio Description, an extra audio track which describes the action between the dialogue. However, it is not only the programmes which need to be accessible; it is the system you use to watch TV.
Some televisions come with built-in screen readers which allow you to use freeview. I’ve not used this myself, but I’m told it works pretty well.
