RAM Upgrade
Indeed, it’s official. Ghini is here to stay.
He is now a fully fledged member of ‘Clan Blaze’ The crofter had came by for a wee word, and it was agreed that we could never return Ghini to the fold as he was far too domesticated and truly believes he’s a dug.
So much so, when the round-up of the hill sheep happened last week, he did a runner fae all the other sheep being brought along the road.
We have also decided his official birthday shall be the 24th of March, for two reasons, being, Dad has a terrible memory for dates, but that happens tae be his own birthday, so he winna forget it and of course, it made perfect sense that Ghini should be under the star sign of Aries, the ram.
However, in appreciation of all the pennies spent on milk and weaning pellets etc, we were duly presented with……a freshly butchered lamb fae the crofter. Rest assured, we never accepted the offer. Dad says we will never eat lamb again now we are aware of how intelligent they are.
Ghini even pits Laoch tae shame in the ‘smarts department’, but then again, that’s not a high bar that’s been set.

Dads resolve was tested even further, as during a quiz night last week. It was also a curry night, and yep, you guessed it….lamb curry was what was on the menu. Luckily, there was also a veggie option.
It was really good to get away for a night, and we duly hitched up the stealth camper trailer, which has seen almost no mileage since being built, and headed down the road tae the Sligachan Hotel.
Laoch was delighted as one of our team members was tae be Katie, a bonny lassie fae the island, so he had loads of smooching opportunities.
