The arrival of Copacetic is truly exciting for fans of all things automotive – this is a publication of a type that has never existed before: a modified car magazine that spans all genres, ages and demographics.
Copacetic is beautifully designed and intelligently written; content is all-encompassing, with feature cars grouped among three core pillars:
- Profiling: Unique enthusiast creations. Project cars built by dreamers who want to create something bespoke, focusing on style, performance or both, in a way that moves the scene forward.
- Projecting: Manufacturers gone wild. Offbeat in-house creations from OEMs, be they concept cars, low-volume specials, custom commissions, race cars or skunkworks projects.
- Procreating: Premium artisanal reinvention. The choicest high-end restomods from this increasingly growing and popular sector.
The beautiful photography and striking design will draw you in, while the thoughtful, intelligent and friendly writing style will ensure that readers of all ages and demographics will feel welcomed into the Copacetic family.

Copacetic

Issue 4 For Issue 4 of Copacetic we’ve searched far and wide to find cars whose builds have been approached from a different angle. Retropower’s Austin Allegro, for instance, reframes one of British Leyland’s less fondly remembered offerings as a focused sports car with pin-sharp handling and all mod cons. Ruffian Cars’ Galaxie 500 takes a huge wafty barge and reinvents it as a hardcore track weapon. The Get Lost Lotus turns the early Elise into a rugged off-roader (seriously), and we also feature a classic Rolls-Royce Corniche that’s been turned into a shooting brake designed to carry muddy bicycles, and a C5 Corvette converted to hand controls for its wheelchair-using owner. Then there’s the pair of box-fresh MINIs reworked into otherworldly creations by collaborators Deus Ex Machina, the hard-to-explain GMA S1 LM, the super-obscure Toyota Sprinter Carib swapped to 4A-GE power, and a bunch of sublime restomods in the form of Prodrive’s P25 celebration of the iconic Impreza, Tolman’s glorious 205 GTI, and Kamm Manufaktur’s sylph-like all-carbon 912C. In addition to that, we’ve got a beguiling road trip story with four UK-built cars driving the full width of the USA to SEMA to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a show report from the fabulous SEMA Show itself, plus a look behind the scenes at Gas Monkey Garage. Get you some of that!
