Copacetic  |  Issue 6
What can you expect to find in Issue 6? We’ve got an exciting theme: we’ve dusted off the crystal ball and we’re looking into the future. Alex Grant provides a deep dive into the future of modifying, including alternative fuels, EVs and shifting legislation, while Richard Porter ponders the future of the enthusiast scene. This forward-looking vibe is colourfully illustrated with a feature by Stephen Dobie on the Peugeot Polygon, a concept that channels the spirit of the 205 GTI.
In addition to all that, we’ve got some absolutely outstanding feature cars in this issue, starting with Ruffian Cars’ latest build, a 1935 Plymouth on a Corvette race chassis with a stroked Viper V10. We have an exclusive feature on the Pocket Bunny (a Suzuki Twin with a Rocket Bunny kit to make it look like a tiny cartoon R32 GT-R, it’s super cute), along with Ken Block’s swansong, the S1 Hoonitron.
There’s a bit of a race car theme too – we have an ex-BTCC Mondeo with a Cosworth YB in it, a super-wide V8-powered Austin A30, a BMW M140i built for the ’Ring, and Forge Motorsport’s GR Corolla – plus we drive a Ferrari F430 Challenge racer on the street.
The weirdness intensifies with a Volvo hot rod and a Rolls-Royce from the future (well, actually from the past… you’ll see), Skoda’s one-off sleeper Superb, and the box-fresh Bertone Runabout.
We also have a show report from Tokyo Auto Salon, and a whole bunch of other stuff. How can you resist…?
