On a high-speed train heading towards London, dad Matthew and his 11-year-old daughter Lottie are having an in-depth conversation about Doctor Who. If they had the opportunity, we ask them, what would they say to the programme’s makers?

“I’d say thank you for everything!” says Lottie, beaming. “Doctor Who is the best. The Thirteenth Doctor is bubbly and funny and really clever. I love everything she says and does.”

“Dad loves it too!” adds Matthew. “I think the production team are excellent. I love the sets, the special effects, the stories. Keep up the good work because I’m still a fan after 50 years.”
