LIKE GOD in his earlier, more productive days, Adam McKay is no stranger to throwing a few stars together. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, for instance, features a sequence in which Will Smith, Marion Cotillard, Jim Carrey, Kanye West, Tina Fey and Liam Neeson all cameo. And we haven’t even mentioned Harrison Ford rocking up as a were-hyena. So, marshalling major-calibre casts isn’t new territory for the writer-director. As if to reinforce that point, his new movie, Don’t Look Up, is built around Jennifer Lawrence (making her first movie in three years) and Leonardo DiCaprio, with supporting turns from (deep breath) Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Cate Blanchett, Timothée Chalamet, Tyler Perry, Ariana Grande, Chris Evans and more.
