Issue 213 is out now
The hot topic of AI is dominating the creative world right now, and in our latest issue we’re taking a deep dive into what its increasing influence might mean for the professional. Our major section explores how it’s becoming ever more difficult for big names such as Tim Flach to keep control of their copyright, and we’re finding out how bodies such as the Association of Photographers are leading the fight to tighten up regulation to protect the profession. We’re also hearing from artist Boris Eldagsen, who threw the competition world into turmoil when he was declared the winner of the open category in the prestigious Sony world photography awards, only to refuse the award and reveal that it had been created using AI to test the system. On the flip side we’re also looking at the many amazing AI-driven software packages that are now available, with our resident software expert Amy-Leigh Atkins running the rule over some of the leading players and testing out ACDSee’s new Photo Studio Ultimate flagship, along with Aftershoot and Neurapix, and we’re also looking at laptops from Acer and Gigabyte that are fully equipped to help creatives get the most out of the emerging AI software packages.
Elsewhere this month we’ve also got a stunning celebrity-laden portfolio from Charlie Gray to share, we’re talking about how you can face down the fear of change and we’re testing out the awesome new medium format Fujifilm GFX 100 II and highlighting its considerable filmmaking capabilities. An issue you can’t afford to miss and enjoy the read!
