Should you run more than 20 miles in marathon training?

It is often advised not to run more than 20 miles when training for a marathon as the distance puts a big toll on your body. However, while it isn’t right for everyone, some people find that exceeding the distance during their training is advantageous.

Marathon training is all about learning to spend time on your feet, getting used to fatigue and your body aching, as well as the mental grit and stamina it takes to actually complete the event.
