JOHNSON’S MASTER CLASS SINKS WARRIORS
WARRIORS-bound halfback Shaun Johnson steered the ship for Cronulla, but his rookie halves partner Braydon Trindall produced the highlights in the Sharks’ composed defeat of the New Zealand club.
Trindall set up his side’s first try, scored one himself, and booted four goals as Cronulla clung to their place on the fringe of the top eight.
The Sharks scored all their points in the 20 minutes before half-time, but that tally was enough for their fifth win in six games, a return to form that’s coincided with Johnson’s return to the number seven jersey in Round 12 following a hamstring injury.
